Faith That Does Not Save

First of all, faith that saves is in Jesus Christ and faith in Him will be blended with faith in God the Father, God the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth IN HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith in a mortal man can be good and helpful but it is does not save. Faith in a Biblical church can be good and helpful but it does not save.

Faith in a Christian preacher or Bible teacher can be good and helpful but it does not save.

Faith in prayer can be good and helpful but it does not save unless the prayer is to God Himself.

Faith in yourself or in your faith or in your resources can be good and helpful but it does not save. Faith in your good works or abilities can be good and helpful but it does not save.

To be continued.
